On Monday, June 20, 2011, Troop 258, Canby, Oregon, presented Bill Stevens with a certificate of appreciation for all his work with the most recent building repair.  There were about 10 people helping with the building repair from the troop. Bill Stevens is not a member of the troop but offered to help. Bill is talented with a chainsaw and carved the beams to fit the pipes that would sandwich the beams. We would meet at 9:00 am and Bill was always the first to arrive. The Troop awarded Bill with a thank you certificate signed by the scouts and a Crystal Eagle award with an engraved plaque (Bill Stevens Thank You Troop 258)  P.S. the sign above the Herman Bergman Lodge sign was carved by Bill Stevens. --Ed Holbrook Ast.SM
